I know how it feels to be a struggling student with teachers who demand a lot but do not explain their material well. In high school I learnt how to learn effectively on my own and decided to transmit my study skills and the knowledge of the foreign languages to others. As a teacher I am patient, funny, structered and organized in my approach. I am learning Italian at the B1 level right now and also know how it feels to learn a new language from the scratch as an adult and how difficult and frustrating it can sometimes be, as well as how to make it fun and effective and rewarding.

I am originally from Slovenia and live and work in Italy now. As a student I completed my whole Bachelors degree in Biology in the United States and speak English close to a native speaker level because I lived in the USA for 5 years. I have been teaching English at a private language school in Bolzano from A1 to B1 levels and also worked for 2 tutoring agencies in Vienna. I provided help to students at home for their middle and high school exams as well as preparation for their central matura examinations. I also posess a teaching degree from a Slovenian Pedagogical University and am a qualified Microbiology teacher there.

Hiking in the mountains and in the cities close by, bicycling, watching foreign movies and eating out.
